It is through the celebration of the sacraments that we as a Church experience the most profoundly God’s presence in our lives. “The sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us.”

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is the formative process through which the Church invites and welcomes new members into a continual conversion and a deeper relationship with our Lord. This process encourages our parish community to share its faith with those who are considering joining the Catholic Church. It is a journey in exploring and sharing the richness of the Catholic Faith through prayer, catechesis (teaching), Scripture and community.

The process of RCIA for the 2018-2019 academic year begins Tuesday, September 4th at 7pm and continues weekly until the celebration of Easter. Through prayer, teaching, Q&A and immersion in the community we help others to feel known, loved, and cared for as they begin to deepen their relationship with our God and draw closer into the fullness of Christ’s Church.
